Urgent Foot Pain
Salford Podiatry department
The Salford Podiatry department can assess, diagnose and treat a range of foot and ankle problems, as well as perform minor surgical procedures.
They help minimise the risk of amputation for those with advanced or complex foot complications and their aim is to improve your foot health and keep you as active as possible.
They have services at Salford Royal Hospital, health centres and Community Gateway Centres and aim to offer you an appointment within 4 to 6 weeks of receiving your referrral. You don’t need to see a GP first.
Urgent access for:
- Foot ulcers
- Infections where antibiotics have been prescribed
- Suspected fractures or Charcot neuroarthropathy
- Ingrowing toenails which are infected
- Foot injuries
