Medical Students - Please note we now have medical students from Manchester University joining us for training. The students will be seeing patients themselves and then discussing cases with the GPs. You may also have a medical student sat in your consultation with the GP. Please let us know if you would prefer not to have the student present.
Find out when our practice is open, what the GP consulting times are and what to do if you need help when the practice is closed. Find out more

The surgery has disabled access and also toilet facilities for disabled patients.
Patient Online Services
Patient Online Services are directly linked with the practice clinical system which makes processing prescription requests easier, as it shows you repeat prescription list as we see it at the surgery.
As well as being able to order prescriptions you will have the added advantage of being able to book appointments with our GP’s and Practice Nurse. You are also able to update your address and contact details without having to call in or to telephone the surgery.
As a practice we would greatly appreciate if you would use this new service and work with the practice to continue improving patient care.
As part of the go2physio pilot which Cherry Medical Practice is participating in, you may be able to access NHS physiotherapy without having to see your GP first. Physiotherapists are physical activity specialists working with you to enable you to manage your condition. They are expertly skilled to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal conditions much in the same way as doctors.
Musculoskeletal conditions such as muscle or joint problems like back pain, knee pain or sprains are best managed by physiotherapists. Physiotherapists can transform people’s lives by:
Improving quality of life
Keeping people out of hospital
Reversing the deterioration of conditions
Visit www.srft.nhs.uk/go2physio to complete a self-referral form to access go2physio clinics, provided by NHS physiotherapists.
